Paul, founder of Precision Flat Pack
Hi I’m Paul, founder of Precision Flat Pack. I have 25 years experience in mechanics, engineering and customer service.
I left school at 16, within a week I started working for Land Rover, completing a 3 year apprenticeship as a motor vehicle technician. During that time I was fortunate enough to win Land Rovers annual search for the best young technician in the country. I continued working as a tech for a further 3 years. My boss at the time coaxed me off of the tools to become a quality controller. This move led to further promotions, service advisor and team leader. In 2005 I jumped ship, the office role just wasn’t for me. I began working for Gunnebo (Formerly Chubb safes) as a safe engineer. My Dad started with Chubb in 1970 he did 46 years there and always wanted me working with him. He’s now happily retired. Anyway back to me, I worked as a safe engineer/locksmith for 15 years. I’ve worked everywhere from your local bank or post office, to multi million pound cash centres, Windsor castle, top secret MOD locations and numerous lavish private properties. In late 2019 Gunnebo safe service was taken over, 2020 Coronavirus hit and redundancy’s were made. I was one of them.... |
Put simply, sadly the safe trade is dying out. The banking industry has changed massively in the last 5-10 years, everything’s going online and 1000’s of branches have closed. An enormous amount our work vanished. COVID impacted the trade badly and the UK is turning cashless. I feel it won’t be long before we’re more inline with some other more cashless society’s. Sweden for example.....
So I feel it’s time for a new venture. My aim is to provide a reliable, friendly, punctual, affordable and professional service to my customers.
My main service will be the assembly of flat pack furniture, home, garden, office and gym equipment etc. Along side a collection/delivery service for items customers have ordered.
I will also provide a man with a van service. I have a very diverse skill set, and can complete a variety of Handyman jobs too. If you need something doing or moving, call me. Please remember the vast Lock and safe experience, so anything in that field too.

Final bit about me, I live on the beautiful Royal Earlswood Park development with my gorgeous wife Katie. We’re very happily married, avid gym goers (the wife works for Nuffield Health). I have wonderful family and friends. I consider myself to be very fortunate.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Please get in touch if you require my services.

Paul
